Historien om Really Wild – og Nadja Swarovskis kærlighed til det ægte landliv Lad os lige starte med, hvorfor vi hos Godsejeren er vilde med tøjmærket Really Wild. Vi beg...
The Ballyvaughan Moccasin in Java brown is made for people who move between the courtyard, forest path, and everyday life without constantly changing footwear. It balances a classic look with practical functionality.
The stapled sole (*) provides a solid grip underfoot – whether it's wet gravel or an overly enthusiastic morning walk with the dog. (The estate dog Alfred tends to set the pace when he finds something interesting).
The nubuck leather has that calm, matte surface that only gets better with time. Not flashy – just honest and proper.
Inside, it's fully leather-lined, and the collar is lightly padded, so you avoid that stiff feeling that can otherwise ruin a good day.
The EVA sole provides comfort, while the leather sole maintains the classic moccasin look. The hand stitching is naturally sealed – because rain comes, no matter what the forecast says.
The lacing system goes all the way around the foot and provides an adjustable fit – exactly as it should be.
Small details like solid eyelets and a discreet metal logo are in place. Not to be loud – but because such things are appropriate.
(*) What does "stapled sole" mean?
A stapled sole typically refers to a sole that is mechanically attached to the upper – often with small metal pins, staples, or similar – rather than merely being glued.
In other words:
It's a construction where care has been taken to ensure the sole stays on, even when challenged by weather, terrain, and use.
It's not quite in the same league as hand-stitched welt constructions, but it's a step up from mere glue – and you can feel it when you walk.
