As the first, perhaps on the entire Mother Earth, the new Danish clothing brand OLENE now introduces a tweed shacket*. It is a relaxed-style jacket, which resembles the best of the safari jacket, the tweed jacket, and the shirt. This unusual combination gives an amazingly sporty elegant look, which excites both us, our friends, and others who have had a sneak peek.
With this jacket, you always look well-dressed, and it can be combined in many ways with shirts and sweaters. For example, OLENE's Ballater turtleneck sweater.
The jacket is made of herringbone Yorkshire tweed in 100% wool, and is unlined, so the sleeves can be rolled up to achieve that stylish casual look. The collar can be worn both up and down, and on the inside left side there is a small storm flap, which is mostly intended as a cool detail.
There is one left chest pocket and two lower front pockets, all with buttoned flaps. On the back, you will find a movement slit in the middle and a fixed belt, which gives the jacket echoes of the classic Norfolk jacket, which you can read more about elsewhere on this page.
We love this jacket, especially when combined with OLENE’s Ballater turtleneck sweater underneath.
